We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our sister store Once Upon a Child. Once Upon a Child shares the same business model as Plato's Closet and focuses on Children's clothing, shoes, toys, and baby gear.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage inventory effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
Duties
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork and a positive work culture.
- Oversee inventory management and control processes to minimize shrinkage and maintain stock levels.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and develop strategies for improving store performance.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the shopping experience.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Conduct regular audits of store operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with upper management on administrative tasks, including budgeting and reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail store management is preferred.
