Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks appealing
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions
• Support team members with shared responsibilities, ensuring smooth store operations

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and sales calculations
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
• Experience upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
• Previous experience in similar retail settings is beneficial but not required
