Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Pay: $9.00–$14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Weekdays, evenings, and weekends

About the Position
Plato's Closet Fayetteville is hiring! We're looking for motivated, dependable people who enjoy fashion, sneakers, and working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Fashion Buyer, you'll help decide which clothing, shoes, and accessories we purchase from customers to resell in our store.
We're looking for people who can work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and make good decisions while keeping up with a busy retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clothing, shoes, and accessories brought in by customers.
- Identify popular brands, styles, and current fashion trends.
- Assess merchandise for condition, quality, and resale potential.
- Price and purchase merchandise using our buying system.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Sort, organize, tag, and process incoming merchandise.
- Help maintain an organized and clean store.
- Assist with other store responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual: Someone who consistently shows up on time and is ready to work.
- Strong work ethic: Comfortable staying productive throughout a shift.
- Attention to detail: Able to identify flaws, evaluate merchandise, and follow procedures.
- Good judgment: Capable of making decisions and learning from feedback.
- Interest in fashion: Familiarity with brands like Nike, Jordan, Lululemon, Adidas, and other popular clothing and sneaker brands is a plus.
- Positive attitude: Friendly, professional, and willing to learn.
- Availability: Applicants who can work evenings and weekends will receive priority consideration.
Experience
Previous retail, resale, or fashion experience is helpful but not required. We provide training on our buying process.
We're more interested in finding dependable, motivated people who are willing to learn than someone with years of retail experience.
