Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting, and off-loading crude oil safely and efficiently from the oil pads to one of two off-load locations. This position requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and the ability to operate different types of equipment. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Requirements
- Slip Seat Driving
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs
- Ability to work in the Outdoor Elements in Utah
- Sit for extended periods of time while operating a vehicle
- Ability to go with the flow and find solutions to problems
- Punctual and Responsible for meeting load Pick-up times
- Team Player
- Has a years worth of driving a manual within the last 2 years
Experience:
- Minimum 1 years Class A Driving Experience in the last three years
- Mountain Driving Experience
- Winter Weather and Chaining Experience
License/Endorsements:
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles Endorsements
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload crude properly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of load information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.
Skills
- Proficient in driving 18 speed manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with route driving and navigating various terrains.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges on the road.
