Tumbler & Degreaser – 2nd Shift
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–Midnight
Training: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable Tumbler & Degreaser to join our manufacturing team in South Minneapolis. This position is ideal for someone with machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn new processes and procedures.
Position Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to tumble, degrease, clean, and de-slug metal parts according to specifications.
- Clean, fill, and maintain solutions, equipment, and tanks.
- Perform minor equipment lubrication and routine maintenance.
- Follow established tumbling procedures and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and notify the supervisor when materials are needed.
- Process multiple jobs efficiently while meeting production schedules, due dates, and priorities.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous machine operation experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow routers/work instructions.
- Ability to perform basic shop math.
- Comfortable using handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Understanding of dimensional tolerances, such as /- .005".
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
