FIELD SUPERVISOR:

Platinum Security is seeking a qualified Field Supervisor to oversee operations in the Los Angeles area. This role is responsible for training, supervising, and managing security officers across assigned accounts, while also providing coverage at standing posts as needed.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to handle challenging or high-pressure situations with professionalism and sound judgment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee and ensure the safety and security of the assigned area
• Manage staffing needs, including open positions, cross-training, and overtime allocation
• Conduct employee evaluations, site inspections, incident reporting, and investigations; develop action plans based on findings
• Analyze reports and operational data to identify trends, address issues, and improve performance and client satisfaction
• Train, mentor, and support new and existing security personnel
• Assist Field Operations with client relations, special projects, and site-specific needs
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professionalism under pressure, utilizing strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
• Build and maintain positive client relationships at assigned sites
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Platinum Security or the client

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
• 1–3 years of experience in a Field Supervisor or similar leadership role
• 2–3 years of experience in the security industry
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Valid security guard card/license required
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
• Must be able to travel between assigned locations as needed
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform physical duties, including extended periods of standing, walking, and other exertion as required
• Working knowledge of standard security practices and procedures
