BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST IILocation; Newport Beach, CAJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Business Systems Analyst II supports the administration, maintenance, and improvement of the Planview platform and collaborates with stakeholders and PMO teams across the enterprise. The role interacts with a broad user base and contributes to optimizing platform efficiency and usability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister the Planview application in partnership with the Enterprise Platform Administrator and Divisional PMO Administrators across multiple geographies.Drive platform enhancements to improve efficiency, reporting, and usability.Identify and document technical issues.Recommend process improvements to enhance user experience and workflow efficiency.Serve as a business partner for teams using the tool for demand management, project management, and resource management.Communicate proactively and effectively with internal users through written and verbal channels.Set appropriate expectations with users and PMO leaders.Support department needs related to the Planview platform, including demos, Level 1 and Level 2 system support, and user trainings. QUALIFICATIONSTypically, 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis or related functions.Experience administering or supporting PPM tools in a leading or supporting role.Ability to process information and data to set up projects, maintain baseline information, and create accurate project documentation.Experience partnering with Program and Project Managers to establish and configure new projects in Planview.Experience supporting Program and Project Managers with training and system administration.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience developing and delivering end user training and documentation.Ability to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly to change.Recent Planview or other PPM tool administration or implementation experience is a plus. MUST HAVEAbility to create reports and dashboards.Deep understanding of project and portfolio management processes.Experience developing and delivering End User training and documentation.PPM tool administration and support experience (in a leading or supporting role) ideally with Planview or another leading PPM tool.PPM tool implementation experience, ideally with Planview or another leading PPM tool.Process information and data to set up projects, maintaining project baseline information, creating and filing accurate project control documentation, and working closely with the Program and Project Managers to keep projects healthy within all our key systems.Strong background in data analytics and technical specifications.Support Program and Project Managers with training and system administration as requested.
