Responsibilities
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and behavioral management strategies.
- Prepare light meals.
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts.(Will Train)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social engagement.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide input if any updates are needed personalized care plans.
- Drive residents or clients when necessary for appointments or community activities while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies - contact supervision for direction .
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly desirable.
- HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy standards.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to use equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required. (Will Train)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and provide clear documentation .
- Valid driver’s license for roles involving transportation responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
