Role Description
The Clinic Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Norfolk, MA, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the outpatient clinic. Norfolk is our most recently expanded clinic located in a brand new plaza that includes The Honey Bean Coffee shop, Exhale Dance Studio, The NewlyMom Space, and other locally owned businesses. Conveniently located across from a 55 community of independent seniors, the clinic population varies from active older adults to youth athletes from King Philip, Medway, Millis, and other surrounding school districts.
This position manages staff schedules, monitors patient flow, and ensures that one-on-one care standards are consistently upheld. The Clinic Manager oversees front-desk and clinical support processes, including intake, registration, billing coordination, and patient satisfaction follow-up. The role includes budget and resource management and implementing operational improvements aligned with the clinic’s mission and quality standards. The Clinic Manager also supports hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback for clinic staff, fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture and positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed physical therapy in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required.
- Strong customer service skills to support a positive patient experience from intake through discharge.
- Budgeting and basic financial management skills to oversee clinic resources and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills for clear collaboration with patients, clinical staff, front office teams, and leadership.
- Experience in staff training, coaching, and development to support a high-performing, patient-centered team.
- Previous experience in physical therapy clinic management is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, solve problems, and maintain composure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
