We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Specialty Handyman to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling the items, assembling, and disassembling specialty items, ensuring each move is executed with precision and care. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our clients, making their moving experience smooth and stress-free. Responsibilities
Job responsibilities are included below but not limited to various tasks that may be asked of you on the job.
- Safely load, unload, and transport specialty items using appropriate manual handling techniques and material handling.
- Build custom crates for artwork, statues, chandeliers and other high value items.
- Assemble and disassemble miscellaneous household items
- Mount TVs
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury and damage
- Hook-Up/Disconnect Washer and Dryer
- Assemble and Level a Pool Table or Disassemble
- Assemble and Tune a Piano or Disassemble
- Assemble/Disassmble Bedroom Furniture, Office Equipment or Various Gym Equipment
Qualifications
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Have to be able to pass a Background Check
- Knowledge on how to use standard power tools. I.E skillsaw, staple gun, drill, misc tools
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients
- Ability to commute all over the valley as jobs range from Utah County, Salt Lake County to as far as Box Elder County
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation of services completed.
- Prior Handyman experience or experience in moving services preferred; familiarity with material handling equipment is a plus
