Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, financial record keeping, accounts payable/receivable and general administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with audits
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documentation
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasts
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage 300)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or hands-on experience in a similar role
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Working Conditions:
- Standard office hours, Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end, year-end)
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
