Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects on time and within scope
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repair
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment during all activities
- Manage project workflows, assign tasks, and monitor progress to maintain high-quality standards
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills in landscaping, gardening, and tree care
- Conduct site inspections to assess landscape health, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project success
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related construction fields
- Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and lawn care techniques
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, tree care, and general construction practices
- Knowledge of landscape design principles and environmental best practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Familiarity with equipment operation, safety standards, and maintenance procedures in outdoor settings
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
