What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Platinum Lab Consultants?
We are looking for a Lab Tech process and test urine for drug screening.
This position is for someone who thrives working solo and being able to control their own workflow. You will work in conjunction with lab supervisors but you will be the sole in charge of the day to day lab function.
The lab will process roughly, 300 urine samples a month. This may consist of heavy volume days, and some days of no volume (allowing time for paperwork or other duties).
The candidate must be comfortable handling urine, following proper lab procedures and customer service experience working within an office space.
This position covers two locations roughly 10 mins apart.
Location 1- You would provide a drug cup to a patient, and read and enter the results in the patient charts.
Location 2- You would take the urine cups not tested and QC/Calibrate the instrument and run on the urine analyzer.
Hours between locations are split throughout the week.
Overall Hours:
Monday: 9-5pm
Tuesady 9-5pm
Wednesday 9-5pm
Thursday 9-5 pm
Friday 9-1pm
