What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Platinum Healthcare?
We are seeking a Medical Assistant – Primary Care for a full-time assignment supporting outpatient primary care clinics on the east and north metro Atlanta side. This role requires flexibility to float between multiple medical office buildings as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Shift times vary based on department and medical office operating hours, typically between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Assignment Details:
- Primary Care ESA – Float position
- Locations may include Crescent Centre, Gwinnett, and Panola
- While every effort will be made to provide staffing stability, candidates must be flexible and willing to float between locations when needed
Responsibilities:
- Support primary care providers with clinical and administrative duties
- Room patients, take vitals, and document in the EMR
- Assist with exams and procedures
- Administer injections and perform EKGs as needed
- Ensure patient flow and clinic efficiency
Requirements:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Primary Care experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different clinic environments
Start Dates:
- January 5 or January 19
