Job Description

Platinum Full Service Plumbing is looking for a reliable, organized, and self-motivated individual to manage our plumbing shop, maintain inventory, and coordinate materials for our field crews.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can stay ahead of material needs to help keep our plumbing projects running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient plumbing shop, including shelving, tools, fittings, and materials.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, restock commonly used plumbing parts, and ensure materials are properly stored and labeled.
• Material Lists: Create and maintain detailed material lists for upcoming jobs based on project needs and communication with field crews.
• Material Ordering: Coordinate with suppliers to order plumbing materials, track deliveries, and verify orders for accuracy.
• Job Preparation: Pull, organize, and stage materials for upcoming projects to ensure crews have everything needed before heading to job sites.
• Communication: Maintain consistent communication with project managers, foremen, plumbers, and office staff regarding material needs, shortages, and upcoming projects.
• Tool Management: Assist with tracking company tools and equipment, including checking tools in and out as needed.
• General Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop and material storage areas clean, safe, and operational.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, and tools preferred.
• Previous experience in plumbing, construction, warehouse operations, or inventory management is a plus.
• Comfortable using a computer, email, and basic inventory spreadsheets.
• Ability to lift and move plumbing materials and supplies safely.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

We need someone who takes ownership of the shop and stays one step ahead of our field crews. This position plays an important role in keeping our projects organized, minimizing downtime, and ensuring our plumbers have the materials and tools they need to get the job done.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
