Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or disturbances
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to manage critical situations
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Perform safety checks and provide first aid or CPR when required to assist injured individuals or manage medical emergencies
Requirements
- Valid armed security license or certification as mandated by local regulations
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and loss prevention techniques
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to respond calmly under pressure while managing stressful situations effectively
- Basic first aid and CPR certifications; additional medical training is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with emergency responders and team members
