What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Detailer position at Platinum Car Wash & Detail?
We are seeking to add several Automotive Detailers to join our team. Unlike many car wash tunnels in the area, we are a full service & detail shop, which means when we present the car back to the customer, our final product is unmatched! As a Detailer, you will be performing any and all of the following services:
- Vacuuming interiors, dusting and wipe down, cleaning floor mats, etc.
- Utilizing a detail extractor to clean, deodorize, and shampoo fabric surfaces and carpets
- Cleaning and conditioning leather, plastic, and vinyl
- "Loading" the car into our car wash tunnel, ensuring the vehicle is loaded safely on to our conveyor
- Ensuring each and every customer is completely satisfied with the work we performed, and taking corrective actions when we do not meet their expectations.
- During slow periods, helping clean, organize, and maintain our facility and property.
The ideal Detailer candidate has a good eye for detail, a positive, energetic, and cheerful attitude, and is comfortable working outside in various weather conditions. Our compensation package includes a base hourly rate with pooled tips.
Requirements: You must have a valid driver's license and no felonies. You must speak English. While we will train you in to our process, prior experience working in a car wash environment, or as a mobile detailer is a requirement for this role.
