As a Used Car Salesperson at Platinum Auto Sales, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing the right vehicle. You will work closely with potential buyers, providing product knowledge, answering questions, and guiding them through the sales process. Our goal is to deliver a transparent, no-pressure buying experience that earns customer trust and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist walk-in customers, answer their questions, and understand their vehicle needs.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our inventory, including vehicle features, pricing, history, and condition.
- Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, from the initial consultation to closing the deal.
- Test Drives: Arrange and accompany customers on test drives, offering information about the vehicle's features and performance.
- Negotiate Pricing: Work with customers to finalize pricing and financing options in line with dealership guidelines.
- Paperwork & Documentation: Ensure all sales paperwork, contracts, and other documentation are completed accurately and promptly.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with leads, returning customer inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction after the sale.
- Inventory Management: Assist with keeping the dealership’s inventory well-maintained, organized, and presented professionally.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including the management and finance department, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Previous Car Sales Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in automotive sales or a similar sales environment (preferably with used cars).
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to close deals while maintaining customer trust and ensuring profitability.
- Customer-Oriented: A passion for helping customers find the right car and offering a high level of customer service.
- In-Depth Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of car features, industry trends, and financing options.
- Sales Success: A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage sales processes, follow-ups, and customer records efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, email, and other digital tools for managing sales and customer interactions.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and ability to drive customer vehicles for test drives.
