About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join a growing apparel and textile production team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered garments and soft goods. This role requires strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and pride in producing work that meets professional quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret work orders to determine design type, thread colors, and placement
- Load, hoop, and align garments or textiles accurately for embroidery
- Select appropriate thread types, colors, and sizes, and run threading through machine guides
- Adjust and control machine settings to ensure consistent stitch quality
- Operate industrial-grade and multi-head embroidery machines
- Monitor production for thread breaks, tension issues, and stitching errors
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Perform basic machine cleaning, threading, and maintenance
- Repair incomplete or defective stitching when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support production team with additional tasks as needed

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience operating industrial embroidery machines
- Ability to read production instructions and design specifications
- Basic computer skills for embroidery software
- Strong color perception and hand-eye coordination
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with other apparel decoration processes (screen printing, vinyl, heat press, etc.)
- Knowledge of digitizing or graphic design software
