JOB TITLE: FACILITIES/DRIVER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

REPORTS TO: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER

CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT 

Job Summary:  

The Facilities/Driver Support Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day upkeep, functionality, and presentation of company facilities and grounds. This role performs exterior property maintenance, assists with general interior facility needs, supports installation and repair tasks, and provides driving support for company-related transportation needs. The position helps ensure company sites remain safe, organized, professional, and operationally efficient.

This position will require local travel between company locations or other business-related destinations.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain the exterior appearance and cleanliness of company properties, including mowing grass, trimming, edging, blowing walkways, and removing debris.
• Perform or coordinate seasonal groundskeeping tasks such as leaf removal, basic snow or ice treatment, and general outdoor upkeep as needed.
• Monitor exterior areas for safety concerns, neededrepairs, or maintenance issues and report findings promptly.
• Support upkeep of parking areas, entrances, sidewalks, fencing, and other outdoor spaces.
• Provide general interior maintenance support for offices, common areas, and workspaces.
• Support office moves, furniture assembly, workstation setups, and minor reconfigurations.
• Perform routine minor repairs and general handyman-type tasks that do not require a licensed trade.
• Serve as a company driver for authorized business-related transportation needs.

• Transport employees, visitors, materials, tools, equipment, or supplies between company locations or other designated sites as needed.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance, cleanliness, registration, or safety concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in facilities support, grounds maintenance, general maintenance, or a similar hands-on support role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Physical Examiner’s certificate 
• Experience usinghand and basic power tools
• Basic knowledge of facility upkeep, minor repair work, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely drive company vehicles and transport materials or personnel as needed.
• Strong reliability, responsiveness, and willingness to support a variety of operational needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience operating lawn care equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift/move materials regularly.
• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
