What you will do:
- Lead accounting managers, senior accountants, and staff, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Direct financial statement preparation, management reports, and bank reporting.
- Oversee bank and investor relations, guiding budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Manage client engagements, identifying opportunities for value-added services.
- Set project strategies and scope to achieve exceptional client satisfaction.
- Mentor staff and champion the firm’s mentorship program to drive team excellence.
- Apply industry knowledge to promote firm growth and client success.
- Build strong client relationships, proactively addressing their evolving needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 12 years of experience, including CPA firm experience.
- Expertise in wine and/or construction accounting.
- Active California CPA license required.
- Advanced accounting and financial reporting knowledge with adherence to firm processes.
- Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills to guide teams and manage client relationships.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in firm tools and technology to optimize processes.
- Strategic vision to adapt to changing client needs.
