Restaurant Cook

The Restaurant Cook prepares and cooks food according to established recipes and quality standards while maintaining an organized, sanitary, and efficient kitchen. This role supports daily kitchen operations through accurate ingredient handling, proper cooking techniques, appealing plating, and effective inventory rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and ingredients for service.
• Execute recipes consistently and accurately.
• Handle ingredients safely and efficiently.
• Operate grills and fryers according to kitchen standards.
• Plate food attractively and accurately.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
• Rotate inventory to support freshness and minimize waste.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in restaurant cooking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler certification.
• Knowledge of food safety and knife skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and manage food portions.
• Experience with grill cooking and fryer operation.
• Inventory management and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
