Material Handlers Starting Pay: $19.00/hour Incentive Opportunities

• Base Pay: $19.00/hour
• Pay-for-Performance: Up to $2.50/hour when the production goal is met
• 2nd Shift Premium: $3.00/hour
• 3rd Shift Premium: $2.00/hour

Operators Starting Pay: $24.00/hour Incentive Opportunities

• Base Pay: $24.00-27.00/hour
• Pay-for-Performance: Up to $2.50/hour when the production goal is met
• 2nd Shift Premium: $3.00/hour
• 3rd Shift Premium: $2.00/hour

Plateco Is Growing!

Plateco is continuing to grow, and increased production and customer demand have allowed us to expand our operations by adding an entirely new 2nd shift.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Production Team and be part of a new shift from the beginning. We are looking for motivated, dependable, safety-conscious individuals who want the opportunity to learn, develop their skills, and increase their earnings.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM ( $1.00/hour shift premium)
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM ( $3.00/hour shift premium)
• 1st and 3rd shifts are four 10-hour shifts
• Overtime may be available based on customer demand
• 2nd shift is a newly added shift as Plateco continues to grow and expand production

Position ResponsibilitiesRackers – Production Team

As a Racker, you will play an important role in the zinc-plating process by ensuring parts are properly prepared for production.

• Rack and un-rack a variety of metal parts according to work orders and production requirements.
• Properly position parts on racks to ensure quality and consistent plating.
• Inspect parts and racks for proper placement and identify potential quality concerns.
• Maintain a steady production pace while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Follow work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, twisting, standing, handling, and movement of metal parts throughout the shift.

Operators – Production Team

Using Plateco’s work instructions and customer purchase orders, you will operate the plating lines, zinc plating raw metal components to protect them from rust, corrosion, and environmental wear.

You’ll play an important role in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring every part meets customer specifications and Plateco’s high-quality standards.

• Must be able to lift, bend, twist, and stand for the shift period. Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety-minded with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right candidate.
