Duties

• Assist the production supervisor in managing daily manufacturing operations during the first shift to meet production goals.
• Support assembly line activities by ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained and available for use.
• Help coordinate the movement of materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, hand tools, and power tools to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Support team members with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs using basic mechanical knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and safety checks throughout the shift.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and assisting with safety audits within the manufacturing facility.

Skills

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line exposure.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable to understand material handling processes.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting supervisors effectively.
• Basic understanding of safety standards related to manufacturing operations and equipment handling.
