About This Restaurant

In September of 2014, Kaffa Coffee & Wine Bar opened their doors with the goal of bringing South Rainer better quality food, products, and services. Being an important part of life in Ethiopia, owners Bisrat Tadesse and Milen Geb knew they wanted to represent the rich and unique history that comes with Ethiopian food and coffee.

Milen says, “Coffee and food is an important part of life in Ethiopia. It brings community together whether it’s catching up with neighbors, celebrating holidays, or comforting those grieving.”

Kaffa Coffee provides exceptional communal dining and coffee ceremony experiences in a relaxed environment. Their menu ranges from authentic Ethiopian dishes to sandwiches, desserts, and wine.

When asked about what made joining Plate of Nations so intriguing, Milen shared that Kaffa Coffee & Wine wants to share their beautiful culture with the Seattle community.
