Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver top-tier service while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Train new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, food safety standards, and customer service expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or nightclubs with banquet or catering experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for retail math, hospitality calculations, and cash handling are essential
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry
- Experience working in the beverage or brewing industry is advantageous; retail math skills are also beneficial
- Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks during busy shifts
