Core Responsibilities
- Assemble products using instructions, attaching or connecting components with hand tools.
- Operate and maintain assembly line equipment, ensuring smooth production flow
- Perform quality checks to verify products meet specifications, using tools like calipers or micrometers to detect defects
- Report issues such as defective parts, machine malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and ear plugs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production quotas and maintain efficiency
- Pack and ship finished products, preparing them for delivery
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, 8 – 10 hours and perform repetitive movements
- Lifting and handling materials or components, up to 35 pounds
- Good manual dexterity and coordination for precise assembly tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy factory environment.
