Social Media Assistant (Part-Time)
-Miami, FL (Hybrid – Office, Remote & Occasional Off-Site)
-9AM–5PM | 3 Days a Week
-$16/hour
-Path to Promotion: Social Media Account Manager
You must have a mode of transportation and able to drive far distances off site to clients. We have clients as far south as Coral Gables, and as far North and West Palm Beach.
Plastics Media, a boutique social media agency specializing in the aesthetics industry, is hiring a Social Media Assistant to support our growing team. This is an entry-level, part-time position ideal for someone passionate about Instagram, TikTok, and digital content creation—offering hands-on experience and a path to promotion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist account managers with daily content creation tasks
- Design branded graphics using Canva
- Edit short-form video content (primarily for Instagram and TikTok)
- Research and brainstorm on-trend video ideas for aesthetic and beauty clients
- Occasionally attend off-site content days to capture photo and video assets
- Help organize and contribute to content libraries and editorial calendars
Requirements:
- Must have experience using Instagram and TikTok
- Highly proficient in Canva
- Familiarity with CapCut or other basic video editing apps is a plus
- Creative eye, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
- Must be available to work 3 days a week from 9AM–5PM
- Able to commute to our Miami Design District office and attend occasional content shoots
