What are the key role responsibilities?
- Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Generate sales growth through new and existing customer opportunities and applications
- Calculate customer pricing from material and fabrication costs based on customer specifications
- Monitor the industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
- Enter all call notes, quotes, and orders into the operating system (Epicor) with support from the Inside Sales Team
- Passion for a consultative, relationship-based sales role
- ‘Hunter’ mentality – results driven, high sense of urgency, & self-motivated
- Comfort with CRM & inventory tracking software (Epicor)
- Knowledge and experience with plastics, distribution, fabrication, and supply chain.
