Production Supervisor
Job Summary: Primary responsibilities for the Production Supervisor are to coordinate and direct the daily activities in manufacturing and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other duties include coordination with other departments to satisfy customer needs for product and resolution of defective product issues.?

Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel, and organizes and monitors workflow

Manage the daily production schedules in all of card manufacturing.?

Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure timely repair of machinery.?

Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product.

Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use. Complete detailed production reports consisting of a daily shift summary and data entry of completed production.?

Complete basic human resource duties such as time keeping (payroll), vacation approvals and employee evaluations?

Resolves personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action

Maintains a safe and clean work environment by training and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards?

Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and efficiency

Perform these and other duties as assigned by Production Manager or other appropriate management personnel.?

Work extended hours as needed to meet customer needs.?

Helps identify improvement opportunities and leads or facilitates teams in driving progress and improvements in the manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.

Associates degree is preferred.??

Employee must be able to regularly push and pull loads using a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus and distinguish colors from one another.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in an indoor setting with variable temperature conditions. The employee may be exposed to minimal chemical smells and paper dust. The employee must be prepared to respond to emergencies should they occur. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
