Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator / Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports both the logistics and sales departments by coordinating shipments, managing order processing, and assisting with customer and vendor communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule outgoing shipments with carriers and freight companies
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate order records
- Assist the sales team with order entry, and customer follow-ups
- Communicate with warehouses, vendors, and customers regarding order status
- Maintain shipping documentation and logistics records
- Help resolve delivery issues and customer inquiries
- Support inventory coordination when needed
- Assist with administrative tasks for the sales department
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills (Excel, email, order management systems)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service or sales support experience preferred
- Logistics, shipping, or freight coordination experience is a plus
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
