This position combines office operations, purchasing, social media content, and marketing which help make every day a little different. Every team member plays an important role in supporting customers and building products that people depend on.
Position Summary
The Operations & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly while helping showcase our products through marketing and social media. This individual will work cross-functionally with sales and production to solve problems, follow processes, keep projects moving, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both administrative work and creative projects.
Responsibilities
Purchasing
- Create and process purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status
- Follow up on open purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing needs
- Maintain accurate purchasing records
- Research for projects, designs, and obsolete or discontinued parts
Operations
- Verify packing slips and purchase orders
- Assist with inventory organization
- Coordinate incoming deliveries
- Maintain receiving documentation
- Assist shipping with pick ups
Marketing & Social Media
- Create and schedule social media content
- Take product photos and short videos
- Assist with video creation and editing
- Update website content and product information
- Design marketing materials using Canva or similar software
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging across digital and printed materials.
- Help prepare materials for trade shows, customer events, and in-house business materials
General Office Support
- Assist with special projects
- Organize digital and physical files
- Support various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel (formulas & templates), and researching online
- Ability to work independently, stay productive, and make progress on tasks without constant supervision; self-motivated.
- Comfortable learning new software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with the ability to keep busy during downtime
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to approach challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Willingness to continue to learn and grow
- Minimum GED/HS Diploma
Preferred
- Experience with social media management
- Experience using Canva or similar software
- Photography or videography experience
- Purchasing or inventory experience
- Manufacturing or industrial business experience
