Are you looking to expand your medical office experience? Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton, Inc. is looking to add a Front Office Support Associate to our independently owned Plastic Surgery practice!
Summary:
The Front Office Support Associate provides support for all functions within the medical office.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
- Answer and route incoming calls;
- Patient Registration;
- Patient Check in and Check out;
- Patient Referrals;
- Collection of co-payments/balances/deductibles;
- Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic information;
- Referring provider updates;
- Scheduling of office appointments;
- Medical record scans for EMR as needed or requested;
- Continuity of care documents via patient portal;
- FMLA paperwork;
- Verification that daily out guides are in order, containing all necessary paperwork;
- Ensures patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter;
- Assisting other office support staff as needed or requested;
- Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton's Core Values;
- Various administrative tasks as required;
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, eight-hour shifts
No evenings, weekends or holidays!

Required Education and/or Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a medical office administrative position is required; 2-3 years’ experience is preferred.
General Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Experience working with an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system;
- Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements for this position to provide excellent patient care service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
