Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Freelance Marketing Coordinator to provide part-time, remote marketing support for an established plastic surgery medical group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and coordinating marketing initiatives. This position will focus on maintaining a strong online presence, promoting the practice's services, and supporting ongoing marketing and advertising efforts.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and outside vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on Instagram and Facebook.
• Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and interactions.
• Maintain consistent social media activity and encourage audience engagement and growth.
• Develop creative content highlighting the practice's providers, services, procedures, and promotions.

Digital Marketing & Website Coordination

• Coordinate with website and marketing vendors regarding content updates and ongoing projects.
• Assist with monthly blog content, including coordinating physician reviews, approvals, and revisions.
• Monitor and respond to Google reviews professionally and in accordance with practice guidelines.
• Maintain and update Google Business Profile content as needed.

Advertising & Graphic Design

• Design digital and print advertisements using Canva or similar software.
• Coordinate monthly advertising submissions and ensure deadlines and publication requirements are met.
• Create promotional graphics and marketing materials for aesthetic services, special offers, and marketing campaigns.

Email Marketing

• Develop and coordinate email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
• Create promotional graphics, prepare and test emails, and schedule distribution.
• Assist with managing email contact lists and follow-up campaigns.

General Marketing Support

• Collaborate with physicians, management, and outside vendors to coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Assist with planning and executing promotional campaigns and special marketing projects.
• Maintain marketing schedules and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and visibility of the practice's services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing, or social media management.
• Experience creating engaging content for Instagram and Facebook.
• Proficiency with Canva or similar graphic design software.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or comparable email marketing platforms.
• Strong written communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, medical spas, or healthcare marketing is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of patient privacy, professional healthcare marketing standards, and appropriate use of patient images and testimonials is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a remote, freelance/independent contractor opportunity requiring approximately 15 hours or less per week. Hours may vary based on ongoing marketing needs and projects.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and the agreed-upon scope of services.
