Material Handler Class C

Core Responsibilities 

• Pull material per production document
• Dry material per documentation
• Accurate in/out of inventory transactions
• Making boxes
• Floor backup
• Housekeeping
• Set up workstation per documentation
• Back up on all floor duties
• Process methods and quality improvements / FABW
• Line clear and return to stock of all materials at end of run
• Cleaning out hoppers
• Complete daily forklift checklist
• Write action forms
• Write internal work orders
• Correct methods or processes not running to documentation
• Understand company quality policy and general safety rules for all employees
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Responsibilities

• Routine lifting of up to 50 pounds 
• Required to walk, stand or sit up to 8 hours per day 

• Good vision is required for visual inspection of material and inventory documents 
• Repetitive bending, stooping, or twisting
• Occasional reaching, kneeling

Communication/Organizational Skills 

• Basic reading and writing
• Basic math skills – ability to count
• Ability to verbally communicate to many different levels within the organization
