Job Overview
Plastic Parts International is seeking dependable Flex Court Technicians to join our court production team in Loves Park, Illinois. This full-time position customizes sports flooring for customers across the country. You'll build athletic courts, paint game lines and custom logos, inspect finished products, and prepare each project for shipment. This role combines craftsmanship, precision, and physically active work to produce custom athletic courts. Paid training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Lay out and connect interlocking flooring tiles to build custom athletic courts.
- Measure and mark layouts for court lines, graphics, and logos.
- Paint game lines and custom graphics using masking techniques and precision stencils.
- Align multi-piece stencils to ensure accurate placement of logos and lettering.
- Inspect completed courts for quality, appearance, and accuracy.
- Stack, palletize, and label flooring sections in the proper sequence for easy customer installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Report quality, material, or equipment concerns.
- Work with your team to meet production and shipping schedules.
Shift Availability
- 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Physical Requirements
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, and work at floor level.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Safely use hand tools, measuring tools, paints, and masking materials.
- Follow safe lifting and ergonomic practices.
