What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day/Night Material Handler position at Plastic Materials Inc?
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Material Handlers to join our production team in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role keeping production running smoothly by moving materials, staging product, and supporting the line with whatever’s needed to keep operations flowing.
Responsibilities:
- Safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other equipment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with basic line setup and changeovers
- Communicate with production and shipping teams to ensure materials are ready and available
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience a plus (certification not required – we can train)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Dependable and willing to work a rotating weekend schedule
- Team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
