Position Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for plastic.
- Optimize production workflows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance sustainability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with R&D to develop new closure designs and support prototyping and testing phases.
- Utilize CAD software to design tooling, molds, and fixtures for injection molding and assembly processes.
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including injection molding machines, automated assembly lines, and quality control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations) and safety protocols.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and drive cost-reduction projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years experience with plastics experience (profile extrusion strongly preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of plastics manufacturing.
- Experienced background in continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
