Core Responsibilities
- Lead process optimization efforts to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and maximize overall equipment effectiveness across the plant.
- Establish and validate robust, repeatable processing parameters for new product launches and existing legacy parts.
- Partner with maintenance, tooling, and quality departments to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges and eliminate root causes on the floor.
- Spearhead the evaluation and integration of new technologies, equipment, and automation into the current manufacturing footprint.
- Serve as the technical authority on the floor, training and mentoring machine operators and technicians on proper processing standards and best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Direct, hands-on experience as a Process Engineer within a plastics manufacturing environment.
- Specific technical expertise in injection molding, extrusion, or compression molding is strictly required.
- Proven ability to run process trials, implement scientific processing principles, and document standard operating procedures.
- Strong analytical mindset with a verifiable history of executing successful continuous improvement projects.
- Highly effective communication skills to work seamlessly with both plant leadership and frontline production personnel.
Salary : $110,000 - $165,000
