Plant Manager – FDA-Regulated Plastic Packaging Manufacturing
Join a global leader in rigid plastic packaging serving the healthcare, food, and consumer products industries. This FDA-regulated, cleanroom manufacturing facility runs advanced automation and world-class engineering support — and we’re seeking an accomplished Plant Manager to lead operations, improve performance, and drive profitability.
This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to executive leadership with full responsibility for aligning plant operations to corporate growth, customer expectations, and EBITDA goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all plant functions: production, supply chain, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
- Manage full P&L ownership, connecting operational efficiency, cost control, and KPIs to EBITDA impact.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and cleanroom requirements.
- Oversee resource planning, capacity alignment, and new product introductions.
- Build a culture of accountability, communication, and high performance.
- Evaluate automation, capital investments, and long-term engineering opportunities.
What You Bring
- 10 years of manufacturing leadership, including Plant Manager or Operations Director experience in large-scale, high-performance plants.
- Background in FDA-regulated, cleanroom, or highly automated production preferred.
- Experience in rigid plastics, injection molding, extrusion, or related plastic manufacturing preferred.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
- Proven ability to manage P&L and drive measurable improvements in KPIs and financial outcomes.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field required; MBA preferred.
