Packer/Picker Handler PositionApplicants must be open to 1st or 2nt Shift.Position Description Responsibilities Include:Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.Staging of product Strapping, wrapping and palletizing product. Empty recycle bins. Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements. Operate industrial power equipment. Restock and replenish as appropriate. Pack and ship products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements Utilize warehouse management system to accurately track inventory and shipments Operate mechanical equipment such as slitters, sheeters, and baggers to pick items, and other heavy product as needed Use RF scanners to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to prioritize orders and meet shipping deadlines Perform quality control checks to ensure products are packed correctly and meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Perform general warehouse/production duties. Constant bending, kneeling, standing, lifting of 50 pounds daily Basic Cleaning of areaQualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse, with a positive attitude, wants to work hard, and is dependable. High School Diploma or equivalent. 0 - 1 year of general work experience. Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred but NOT required. Ability to operate a manual pallet jack Demonstrated attention to detail. Valid driver license MUST successfully complete a post offer physical, drug screening, and reference check are requiredPlastic Connections requires all applicants to undergo a background verification process prior to commencing employment with the company.
