Injection Molding Process Technician

Weekend Shift!Friday, Saturday, Sunday (12 hour shifts of 7:00pm to 7:00am). Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.As an Injection Molding Technician under the direction of the Supervisor/ Shift team leader, you will be responsible for assuring that injection molding machines are set up and running to quality standards and meeting production and scrap goals.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary at any time.Check production process against documented process, which includes all support equipment including blenders, grinders, dryers etc..Perform set ups on single and two shots toolsLoad programs install EOAT and troubleshoot for robotic/automation systems.Perform set-up and troubleshoot for injection molding.Perform start-up and shut-down procedures.Utilize in cavity mold sensors for troubleshooting and matching processes.Verify setting are accurate.Inspect parts in accordance with establish quality plans.Follow machine shut down procedures as specified which may include the following; close hopper throat valve, turn off heating and cooling systems, retract carriage and purge machine and ensure machines and areas around them are clean and free of all debris (resin pellets, molded parts, water, oil, etc.) after each setup is completed. Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience):High school diploma or equivalency, required.5 years’ experience as a Process Technician required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent mechanical skills.Excellent troubleshooting skills.What Do We Offer:Paid lunch and breaksPaid vacation daysHealthcare plan including health/dental/vision insuranceRetirement savings plan with company matchLife insurance and STD insurancePerfect Attendance BonusAnnual BonusCompensation details: 25-35 Hourly WagePIee7e1fe3109e-25405-39075956
