Plasterer Equipment Co., Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Sales/Rental Coordinator for our Lewisberry full service branch operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating business in the Rental Department. The principle priority for this position directly relates to growing rental revenue, rental equipment utilization and rental department administration. Job Description:
The Sales/Rental Coordinator reports directly to the branch Manager. Responsibilities for coordinating business in the Sales & Rental Departments are outlined in the detailed responsibilities. The primary priority for this position directly relates to growing rental revenue, rental equipment utilization and rental department administration.
General Requirements of the Job:
· The branch hours of operation are M-F, 7am – 5pm
· Self Motivated – employee must be self motivated and show initiative to keep busy
· Socialization – pleasant personality, however the productivity of fellow staff needs to be respected and office socialization minimized
· Computer Savvy – Basic computer skills are required (Word, Excel)
Responsibilities:
Sales Department
1) Call Vendors to confirm pricing, terms, and delivery.
2) Ensure all wholegoods delivered to Branch are tagged per sequence (20000 Used, 50000 PECO, etc…)
3) Call Manufacturer Order and Shipping to expedite delivery of sold machines or confirm retail availability dates when requested on pending orders
4) Call other dealers to facilitate inventory transfers
5) Responsible for the coordination of shop work requests to deliver sold machines
6) Perform simple wholegoods invoicing
7) Coordinate Demonstrations with Sales Department
8) Inventory Birth Certificate (New)
Rental Coordinator –Processes directly related to rental
1. Answering rental calls, asking for order, secure the rental order
2. Authority to discount rentals to gain share in consultation with Branch Manager
3. Qualify customer as “rental ready” including collecting Insurance Certificate & setting up PowerPlan account
4. Own the outbound rental process by scheduling transfers & trucking, communicating timeline and preparing machine or delivery
5. Own the inbound rental process to ensure machine is returned without damage and all paperwork is processed accordingly
6. Finalize all billing and administration including rental contracts, Deere settlements, damage quotes, hauling invoices, etc.
7. Pro-actively balance inventory between Branches to maximize utilization
