What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiver position at Plastech Corporation?
As the Warehouse Receiver, you are responsible for receiving shipments in a timely matter while checking product to ensure there are no damaged item(s) or discrepancies. You will also need to communicate with different departments to answer questions and resolve issues. In this position, you are responsible for picking, preparing, and verifying product for shipment in an efficient manner that meets the customer service standards, to ensure that customer receives accurate shipments. As the Warehouse Receiver, you will also be loading and/or unloading product on trucks in a safe and accurate manner.
Hours Available (Monday thru Friday):
- 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm ($18.00 to $20.00/hour DOQ)
Qualifications:
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Fill out general communication paperwork in written form legibly so as to be understood.
- Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
- A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Apply abstract concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
