Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory control through regular stock checks and inventory management software
• Support order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment adhering to OSHA safety regulations and PPE use standards
• Conduct shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments against orders using warehouse management systems
• Support warehouse supervisor in implementing safety procedures, stock replenishment, and inventory management tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and materials handling best practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
• Knowledge of safety protocol adherence and PPE use in a warehouse setting

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
