Primary Job Description: The Loan Assistant provides administrative, operational, and customer service support to Loan Officers and the lending team. This position is responsible for assisting with loan origination, document preparation, file maintenance, customer communication, loan closing coordination, and monitoring outstanding requirements or exceptions. The Loan Assistant helps ensure loan files are accurate, complete, compliant with regulatory requirements, and processed efficiently while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:Education Required; Experience and Equipment Skills: Resume Required….
- High School education or equivalent education or training, or a combination of education and training.
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of banking, lending, loan operations, or financial services experience preferred.
- Experience supporting commercial, consumer, or mortgage lending activities strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of loan documentation and banking procedures preferred.
- Critical thinking and using logic and reasoning to complete loan paperwork
- Knowledge of lending processes and loan documentation preferred.
- Working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and operate loan origination and core banking systems.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background report.
