Role Description This is a full-time, in office Construction Project Manager role based in Austin, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to help lead the successful execution of
projects across multiple phases. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational
skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of personalities.
Construction in hospitality, multi-family and commercial experience is a plus, and we are looking for someone eager to grow with our expanding company.
This role involves hands-on work across estimating, plan takeoffs, subcontractor negotiations, scheduling, and budget management.
Duties:
- Oversee project planning, scope development, and execution through completion
- Perform plan takeoffs and assist with detailed estimating
- Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors to align with project goals
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets using Microsoft Office Suite
- Lead project meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and adjust timelines as needed
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting
- Generate submittals, RFI’s, track project billing and budget
- Collaborate with diverse teams and effectively manage varying personalities across different project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Occasionally travel to project sites as needed (minimal travel)
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of project management experience preferred
- Hospitality, Multi-Family and Commercial Renovation experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to solve problems and adapt quickly to project needs
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed; travel expected to be minimal
- Desire to grow and develop within a dynamic and expanding organization
