Job Description
- Assist with implementing lesson plans
- Provides direct care and supervision of children ages infancy to 2 year old
- Works closely with Director and other teachers
- Ensures the safety and well-being of all children
- Ensures lesson plans are being carried out
Job Requirements
- Possess a passion for children and manifest a concern and love for children expressed in daily interactions
- Experience in early childhood preferrerd
- Ability to be flexible as daily situations occur
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and integrity
- Ability to multi-task
Minimum qualifications
- Must have one of the following credentials:
- High School Diploma, Child Development Classes preferred
- Must complete the DCF childcare 40 hour training within one year of hire date
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
