Job Summary
Internal Medicine Practice in Plantation is looking for an experienced or recently certified Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy skills.
The practice caters to adults 18 the ideal candidate must be reliable, with excellent communication skill, the ability to multitask and proficient with computers. Basic understanding of EMR systems. We will train the right candidate in the practices work flow and EMR system.
Job Duties
1. Room Patients
2. Review patients intake forms and reason for exam
3. Vital signs, weight, blood pressure, pulse and 02
4. Review of medications, refill medications and process any prior authorizations for medications
5. Phlebotomy - MUST have good skills set
6. EKG experience
7. Process labs and orders
8. Ear Lavages
9. Stock and organize exam rooms and lab supplies
You MUST be fully fluent in English language, both written and verbally.
Spanish and European languages a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
