Duties
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
- Conduct retail sales transactions swiftly while maintaining attention to detail in balancing cash drawers and processing returns or exchanges
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and assist with merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-organized
- Demonstrate product features and conduct product demos to educate customers about new or popular items
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings if applicable
